Pinex Outdoor Structural Timber

The Structural Outdoor product range by CHH Woodproducts NZ includes products designed for different uses. 

Pinex Verified is a great alternative to the more traditional No.1 Frame and is the perfect solution for any outdoor project as it has the added bonus of being structurally tested. You can rely on the Pinex Verfied for both structural and non-structural applications. 

House Piles & Anchor Piles, both treated to H5, are ideal for vertical loads in the construction period of your home or alternately as Retaining Wall Posts.

Pinex Verified:

  • The perfect solution for any outdoor project and has the added bonus of being tested for both structural and non-structural applications.
  • Manufactured from sustainably grown NZ plantation pine.
  • Each piece tested for stiffness, utilising the SG8 manufacturing process.
  • Suitable in fully exposed situations (Not suitable for in-ground use).
  • Specified and sold in dry size BUT produced and provided wet.
  • Build time reduced due to requirement for fewer bearers, poles and foundations (dependent on individual structure design).
  • Available FSC™ CoC Certified on request (Certificate Numbers: SCS-COC-001317, SCS-COC-00403 & SCS-COC-001321).

House Piles & Anchor Piles:

  • Manufactured from sustainably grown NZ plantation pine. Suitable for use as either a House Pile or as Retaining Wall Posts
  • If House Piles are specified they can be substituted with Anchor Piles. If Anchor Piles are specified they cannot be substituted with House Piles.
  • Anchor Piles resist lateral and vertical loads.
  • Bracing requirements depend on circumstances.
  • Anchor piles are subject to proof testing
  • When tested, Anchor Piles exceeded the strength and stiffness tests required by NZS3605
  • Treated to H5 ensuring that they will meet requirements of New Zealand Building Code for Durability.
